At MBition, we are bringing digital luxury to mobility users around the world. To accomplish this, we are redefining how software is developed within the automotive field as part of an international Mercedes-Benz software development network. As a 100% subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, we develop and integrate the next generation of Mercedes-Benz in-car infotainment systems that are based on the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MBOS). In addition, we are responsible for the Mercedes me companion app, we provide seamless & connected mobility experiences and we contribute to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) platform development. With offices in Berlin and Sofia, we are aiming to bring new generation of innovative infotainment systems across the globe.




Your Mission


You will coordinate input from Product and Function Owners, Test and Development Engineers and will create, maintain and align software requirements based on that. This will enable us to consistently plan and discuss our existing and upcoming features and also help us scope our testing efforts. You will be part of a central team of Requirements Engineers to coordinate requirements engineering on the project level across more than 300 teams and at the same time work closely with Product Owners.



  • Create requirements based on engineering and business input

  • Work with requirements manager, support product owners and project managers in aligning scope and identifying responsible people

  • Work hand in hand with engineers to create requirements - from the team, for the team


Qualifikationen

Your Profile

Education



  • Degree in a natural science (Maths, Physics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Technology) or a comparable field


Experience



  • Minimum 3+ years working experience in requirements engineering in a software engineering context

  • Experience in working with software developers, test engineers and system architects

  • Strongly developed analytical ability

  • Ability to put complex technical relationships into concise, clear, and precise English

  • Experience in an automotive software environment


Nice to have



  • Solid understanding of embedded systems

  • Knowledge in C/C++, Python, or similar

  • IREB Certification

  • Architecture experience

  • Experience with ALM Tools like DOORS, Doors NG, ...

  • ASPICE experience

  • Project management experience

  • ISTQB Certification

  • Experience with Functional Safety and Cyber Security


Language skills:



  • Proficient in English. German is a plus
